PERFORMANCE
BMW iX
Action-Packed Thrills

Hold on tight! One press of the accelerator has taken you from 0 to 60 MPH in just 3.6 seconds. What’s behind all that power in the BMW iX? It starts with the standard dual all-electric motors. They’re powered by a 111.5-kWh high-voltage lithium-ion battery pack, which helps achieve a potent 516 horsepower and 564 lb-ft of torque.

You’re in control with the iX, thanks to My Modes. This system lets you customize performance metrics, display configurations, and the interplay of color and ambiance in the cabin to create three custom modes, which include:

  • SPORT
  • EFFICIENT
  • PERSONAL

The dual motor setup also means that xDrive dual-motor all-wheel-drive comes standard, so you’ll have complete confidence cruising in a variety of low-traction situations. It works with ARB-X acceleration slip control, which works to limit wheel slip under heavy acceleration. That means you’ll be able to take full advantage of that heart-racing 0 to 60 MPH acceleration time!

The Power of Plug-In

The 2024 BMW iX boasts an impressive EPA-estimated range of 305 to 311 miles.* What’s the best part? All you need to do to enjoy it is plug it in!

When utilizing the convenient Level 2 BMW Wallbox at home, you can charge your BMW iX from 0% to 100% in just under 12 hours. That’s perfect for an overnight charge, so go rest up after a long day and wake up to an SUV that’s ready to go the distance.

If you need a faster charge while out and about, utilize a DC Fast Charging station. It will add between 180 to 200 miles of range in just 30 minutes.

INTERIOR

Responsibly Comfortable

Standard heated front seats and automatic 4-zone climate control make it easy to get comfy in the BMW iX. What makes all that comfort truly relaxing is being surrounded by sustainable materials. It starts with olive-leaf tanned leathers and a Forest Stewardship Council-certified wood trim. Even the floor mats are made from ECONYL®, a regenerated nylon made from ocean waste.

The 14.9-inch central information display is your command center. It’s operated via the iDrive 8 system, which gives you control of your apps and music through voice, touchscreen, or the iDrive touchpad Controller. You’ll have access to the following:

  • Bluetooth® wireless technology
  • Apple CarPlay®
  • Android Auto™
  • SiriusXM®

Hear that? It’s your favorite band’s new song that you’ve been waiting to hear. What’s better? You’re listening to it over the Bowers & Wilkins® Diamond Surround Sound System—available with the BMW iX. It comes with 30 speakers and 4D Audio that cloak you in every bass beat and treble.
