The 2022 BMW iX stands out from other all-electric models, thanks to its use of sustainable materials throughout the cabin. The premium leather upholstery is made from olive leaf tanned leather. This makes the upholstery more sustainable than leather treated with traditional tanning agents.

- Sustainable wood that’s Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified

The Flexible Fast Charger is equipped with your BMW iX. To utilize, simply plug this charger into any 120-volt or 240-volt outlet.
Innovative Technology
The 2022 BMW iX offers innovative technology beyond charging solutions. This SAV® brings your favorite apps, music, and other digital features, thanks to the all-new iDrive 8.0 Operating System. Features that are said to come with this latest infotainment system include:
- 14.9-inch touchscreen display
- Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ capabilities
- Enhanced natural voice recognition
- Cloud-based machine learning to better support your surroundings
Another component of the iDrive 8.0 Operating System includes My Modes, a way for you to customize your commute. Choose between Sport, Efficient, or Personal modes. Each mode adjusts different characteristics of your commute.
For example, when Efficient Mode is selected, it’s said that this mode will adjust components like interior ambient lighting, giving the whole cabin a calming blue color. With Sport mode, you’ll feel energized with the fiery orange lighting.
